MG recently introduced three variants of the New MG5 to the Vietnamese market. This model reflects the brand’s new strategy, which prioritizes practical usability, a key factor for Vietnamese car buyers today. Specifically, the New MG5 measures 4,601 x 1,818 x 1,489 mm (LxWxH), features a 2,680 mm wheelbase, and offers 150 mm of ground clearance. These dimensions create a remarkably comfortable cabin, especially for rear passengers. Consequently, the New MG5 provides a major competitive edge by delivering C-segment dimensions at an A or B-segment price point.

Furthermore, an advanced engine management system from Bosch keeps fuel consumption at just 5.5 liters per 100 km, significantly reducing daily running costs.

Even on the standard manual variant, MG includes practical safety features such as reverse parking sensors, a rearview camera, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). On the top-tier variant, the manufacturer enhances safety further by adding Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), 6 airbags, and a 360-degree camera.

To make every journey more enjoyable and convenient, passengers can enjoy various modern amenities. These include a feature-packed infotainment system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated controls, a multi-information display, and power-adjustable side mirrors. In addition, customers will appreciate premium features like power-adjustable heated front seats, a 10-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a smart key, push-button start, and an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold.
